Garment Technician – Technical Development

About the role

Join Calvin Klein’s technical team to own the development of allocated garment styles, ensuring fit consistency across collections for underwear, swimwear, activewear and loungewear. You will collaborate with global technical teams and cross‑functional partners to translate design intent into high‑quality, market‑ready products.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, analyze and document directional fitting comments in Centric, providing clear feedback to design and technical teams.
• Evaluate garment construction and quality, identify risks, suggest alternatives, and uphold design intent from first fit through PP approval.
• Work closely with sourcing, vendors and hub partners to manage sample development, T&A and timely issue resolution.
• Lead vendor accreditation training, allocate PP and Fit Approval tasks, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Participate in SOP creation, update processes, and contribute to best‑practice projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Technical Design, Pattern Grading or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in garment fitting, pattern making, grading and construction.
• Strong organizational skills, detail‑orientation and ability to act quickly on issues.
• Excellent communication in English and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
