Financial Accounting & Control Manager

About the role

The Manager of Financial Accounting & Control will lead centralized financial reporting and control services for LSEG subsidiaries. You will guide global processes, champion continuous improvement, and partner across the business to ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate accounting in line with LSEG’s global policies.
• Identify risks and process gaps, recommend and implement improvements.
• Partner with the Financial Controls team to maintain alignment with the Controls Framework.
• Lead teams to meet tight reporting and audit deadlines and support internal and external audits.
• Manage onboarding of new scope areas and ensure alignment with the standard operating model.
• Maintain strong balance‑sheet controls and develop KPI tracking for team effectiveness.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification or relevant degree with 5–7 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in a finance shared‑services environment and preferably time in a Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, technical accounting concepts and ability to work UK business hours.
• Proven problem‑solving, collaboration and communication skills.
