Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, reporting and control activities for Hello Spices, a fast‑growing spice production and distribution company. Based in Kurunegala, this full‑time, on‑site position supports day‑to‑day operations and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management processes.
• Conduct cost analysis, pricing support and financial performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks and financial institutions.
• Implement and monitor internal controls and continuously improve financial processes.
• Provide clear financial insights and reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting standards and statutory statements.
• Experience with accounting software, spreadsheets and ERP/finance systems.
• Understanding of taxation, regulatory compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead finance staff and organise workloads.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA) is a plus.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry is beneficial.
