Finance Executive

About the role

TECEZE is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Executive to join its team in Jaffna. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting activities and bookkeeping.
• Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Assist in preparing financial and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent.
• Part qualification in CA or AAT finalist/passed.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
