Finance Analyst – ACOE (Data Analytics & Automation)

About the role

As a Finance Analyst – ACOE at Ascent, you will join the Finance & Accounting team to lead data‑analytics and automation initiatives for our clients. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive data‑analytics and automation projects for clients.
• Develop, administer and maintain BI tools and dashboards.
• Deliver and document automation, process‑improvement, value‑creation and analytics projects.
• Analyze end‑user reporting requirements and implement automation solutions to improve SLAs, KPIs and BOIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines.
• Maintain automation scripts, DS scripts and ensure governance compliance.
• Promote knowledge sharing, continuous innovation and creative problem‑solving within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• Relevant diploma or certifications (e.g., Data Analytics, Power Platform) are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an analytics or data‑science environment.
• Proven track record delivering analytical projects with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Power Query, VBA, scripting).
• Power Platform suite – Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps.
• Data modeling and database/SQL knowledge.
• Understanding of data‑analytics concepts and techniques.
• Python or R experience (preferred).
