Executive – Quality Assurance

About the role

The Executive – Quality Assurance will ensure that all garments produced meet the required customer quality standards. This role involves performing inline, end‑line and sample testing, as well as documenting findings and supporting corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and physical inspections of garment components such as zippers, buttons and labels.
• Conduct inline inspections to check seam quality, stitch density and alignment.
• Carry out finished‑product inspections, measuring dimensions, checking for defects and verifying labeling and packaging.
• Execute spot checks and random sampling to identify quality trends.
• Run functional tests (zipper, button strength, colour‑fastness) to confirm performance and durability.
• Record inspection results, non‑conformities and defects using appropriate forms and checklists.
• Support root‑cause analysis and work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain calibration records for inspection tools and ensure accurate measurement results.
• Keep comprehensive quality‑control documentation in line with the quality management system.

Required profile

• Experience performing dimensional and physical inspections of garment components.
• Familiarity with inline and end‑line garment inspection processes.
• Ability to conduct functional tests on apparel items.
• Proven record of documenting inspection findings and supporting root‑cause analysis.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining calibration records.
