English Lecturer / Assistant Lecturer (Full-Time)

About the role

Cambridge College of British English is expanding its academic panel across the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. We are seeking enthusiastic English Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers to deliver high‑quality Cambridge‑aligned instruction to our learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons that meet Cambridge English standards.
• Create an interactive, inclusive classroom environment that motivates students.
• Prepare learners for international Cambridge English examinations.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and academic staff to support student progress.

Required profile

• HND in English with at least 2 years experience, or a B.A/B.Ed in English, B.A TESOL, B.A Language Translation, CELTA, or TEFL.
• Minimum 6–12 months teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for teaching and continuous professional development.
