Electronics Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

Variosystems AG is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join its Colombo team. You will work on high‑reliability electronic solutions for sectors such as MedTech, aerospace, and smart infrastructure, contributing from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and interpret concept and architecture level diagrams.
• Design circuits, capture schematics, define stack‑up and create PCB layouts.
• Perform board bring‑up, testing, characterization, and debugging.
• Conduct power and signal integrity analysis and lead technical discussions with customer engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience designing mixed‑signal electronics and multi‑layer PCBs.
• Strong knowledge of HDI design principles and circuit fundamentals (power supplies, sensor interfacing, communication protocols).
• Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.

Required skills

• Circuit design and schematic capture.
• PCB layout and stack‑up definition.
• Power and signal integrity analysis.
• Communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN.
• Use of lab equipment for hardware bring‑up and debugging.
• Creation of technical documentation, schematics and BOMs.
