Data Engineer (Azure & Fabric)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and operational needs. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure and Fabric technologies and requires close collaboration with analysts and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and operational reporting.
• Develop data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
• Create and manage data models, data warehouses, and data lake architectures.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Functional, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting.
• Optimize existing data infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Establish best practices for coding standards, version control, testing, and documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.
• Participate in incident response for critical pipeline issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in data or software engineering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
