Cybersecurity Specialist – Application & Cloud Security

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to take ownership of application, cloud and infrastructure security across our platform. You will work closely with the development team to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls and prepare the platform for security assessments and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews of applications, APIs and infrastructure.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across the platform.
• Review authentication, authorization, RBAC and multi‑tenant security.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing.
• Implement and maintain security monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Secure AWS, Cloudflare, databases and production infrastructure.
• Manage security tools including SAST, DAST, dependency and secret scanning.
• Establish secure development and deployment practices.
• Conduct threat modelling and security reviews for new features.
• Assist with incident detection, investigation and response.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 2–5 years of practical cybersecurity experience.
• Experience securing web applications, APIs and AWS/cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of OWASP and application security testing.
• Preferred certifications: OSCP, OSWE, PNPT, AWS Security Specialty, ISO 27001.

• Cloudflare, TLS/SSL, and secrets management.
• Web and API security, OWASP Top 10, OWASP ASVS.
• SAST and DAST tools, dependency and secret scanning.
• Security logging, monitoring and incident response.
• Penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Linux operating system security.
