Creative Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Creative Designer to join our Marketing department in Colombo. You will be responsible for turning brand ideas into compelling visual assets across digital and print channels while keeping pace with emerging AI‑driven design tools.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop visual concepts for marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Design and produce high‑quality artwork for digital and print materials in line with corporate brand guidelines.
• Retouch and colour‑grade photographs, ensuring consistent visual style.
• Cull, sort and optimise image assets for web, print and digital platforms.
• Create engaging visual content for social media, internal communications and marketing campaigns.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools to improve design workflows and productivity.
• Stay up‑to‑date with design trends and emerging AI technologies, recommending innovative improvements.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver assets on schedule.
• Prepare production‑ready artwork for both print and digital channels, ensuring brand compliance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, colour theory and brand identity.
• Ability to prepare artwork for both print and digital platforms, including social media.
• Interest in AI‑powered creative tools and a proactive approach to adopting new technologies.
• Excellent time‑management, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines, sometimes working late hours.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced team environment.
