About the role
British Cosmetics (Pvt) Ltd., a well‑established company in Sri Lanka’s beauty and cosmetics industry with over 25 years of experience, is looking for a responsible and customer‑focused Cashier to join our team. The role involves handling cash, card and other payment transactions accurately while supporting daily showroom operations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Issue bills and receipts to customers.
- Maintain accurate daily cash records and assist with cash reconciliation.
- Handle customer inquiries in a polite and professional manner.
- Maintain proper documentation of sales and payments.
- Ensure the cashier counter is clean and organized.
- Support daily showroom/store operations when required.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Customer‑oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
