Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to generate and manage a sales pipeline, understand client needs, and promote Loomod’s IT, software and digital marketing solutions to Sri Lankan businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage your own pipeline through calls, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and in‑person visits.
• Run discovery meetings, prepare proposals and quotations with technical support, and negotiate and close deals.
• Hand over new clients smoothly to the delivery team and keep relationships warm for repeat business.
• Track leads and deals in a CRM and report on pipeline progress weekly.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in IT services, software, SaaS or digital marketing.
• Proven record of closing deals independently.
• Fluent in Sinhala with strong spoken and written English.
• Confident in client meetings, presentations and negotiations.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to build a pipeline from scratch.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings; a vehicle or driving licence is a plus.

Required skills

• CRM usage for tracking leads and deals.
• LinkedIn for prospecting and networking.
