Business Development Executive – Marketplace Seller Onboarding

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to support the growth of our marketplace by onboarding new sellers and brand partners. You will act as the first point of contact, guiding prospects through our policies, tools, and value proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, outreach, and onboard new sellers and brand partners.
• Explain marketplace policies, processes, and seller tools to prospective partners.
• Coordinate documentation, account setup, catalog uploads, and training sessions.
• Support day‑to‑day seller operations, including order tracking, listing issues, and basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare performance reports, onboarding dashboards, and business development trackers.
• Assist in planning and executing seller engagement activities, webinars, and training programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (category, marketing, logistics, payments, support) to resolve seller issues.
• Monitor seller activity, flag opportunities or risks, and maintain accurate records in CRM or internal systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, E‑commerce, IT or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; less than 1 year of professional experience in business development, sales support, customer service, e‑commerce or marketplace operations.
• Basic understanding of e‑commerce, online marketplaces and digital business models.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and work in a team.
