Business Development Executive

About the role

BrandBuzz is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities and expand its client portfolio. You will identify potential clients, build relationships with decision‑makers and present the agency’s integrated marketing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build a pipeline of prospective clients across various industries.
• Generate leads through LinkedIn, social media, networking, referrals, events and cold outreach.
• Contact prospects, arrange meetings or presentations and understand their marketing challenges.
• Present BrandBuzz’s services, develop tailored pitches and proposals in collaboration with strategy and creative teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients and identify upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
• Attend networking events and industry functions to represent BrandBuzz.
• Track market trends, competitors and potential sectors for growth.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and work with the Founder/CEO to ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.

Required profile

• Confident, articulate and comfortable speaking with senior decision‑makers.
• Persuasive yet not overly sales‑driven, with a passion for marketing, advertising and social media.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive lead generation and excellent follow‑up skills.
• Commercially minded, target‑oriented and well‑organised.
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales or account management, preferably in a creative or digital agency.
• Existing corporate contacts and a professional network are a plus.
