Business Development Executive – Accounting, Bookkeeping & Tax Services

About the role

As a Business Development Executive, you will play an important role in expanding our client base by identifying businesses that require accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and consulting services. You will engage directly with business owners, Managing Directors, Finance Managers, and decision‑makers, understand their business needs, introduce our professional services, and convert qualified prospects into long‑term clients.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential SME clients in Sri Lanka.
• Generate leads through LinkedIn, telephone, email, WhatsApp and other channels.
• Connect with business owners and senior decision makers.
• Introduce our accounting, bookkeeping, tax and consulting services.
• Understand prospective clients' business needs and identify opportunities.
• Arrange meetings and discussions with potential clients.
• Follow up consistently and manage the sales pipeline.
• Build strong and long‑term relationships with prospects and clients.
• Achieve agreed monthly lead‑generation and client‑acquisition targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, communications and follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing or Lead Generation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong command of English and Sinhala.
• Confident telephone and business communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with business owners and senior management.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and target‑oriented.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales skills are encouraged to apply.
