About the role
Abans PLC, a leading Sri Lankan consumer durables distributor, is launching a 12‑month Brand Management Trainee programme. The scheme offers recent graduates a blended learning journey that combines classroom training with hands‑on experience across business operations, giving a holistic view of the brand portfolio and preparing future leaders in brand management. Abans has held a dominant position in Sri Lanka’s consumer durables market for over five decades, representing global brands such as LG, Apple, HP, Lenovo, and many others. With a distribution network of over 1,000 touch points, luxury‑mall stores, exclusive brand outlets and a growing e‑commerce platform, trainees will be exposed to a dynamic retail environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Branding or a related field with at least a Second‑Class Lower division (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Demonstrated involvement in extra‑curricular activities.
- Internship experience is an advantage.
- Positive, vibrant personality with a natural inclination to lead.
- Age below 25 years.
