BIM Technician – Revit Modeling

About the role

We are looking for a motivated BIM Technician with strong Revit modelling skills to join our BIM team. The role focuses on creating accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural and MEP designs and supporting Scan‑to‑BIM projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit based on architectural drawings, with exposure to structural and MEP inputs.
• Create BIM models from point‑cloud or laser‑scanning data for Scan‑to‑BIM and as‑built documentation.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, schedules and construction documentation derived from BIM models.
• Maintain model accuracy, naming conventions, families, parameters and project standards.
• Update BIM models in line with design revisions, site conditions and project requirements.
• Assist project teams in delivering BIM outputs within deadlines and quality standards.
• Perform basic model quality checks to ensure compliance with BIM execution plans.
• Organise and manage project files, model versions, drawings and documentation.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 4 or higher in Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related diploma.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (priority) and familiarity with structural and MEP drawings.
• Understanding of construction methods, building components and architectural detailing.
• Attention to detail and good communication/teamwork skills.
• Fresh graduates or entry‑level candidates with strong Revit and CAD skills are encouraged.
