Backend Consultant – Node.js & Cloud Services

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Consultant to design, develop and maintain high‑performance server‑side applications. The role focuses on building scalable microservices using Node.js and TypeScript while leveraging cloud‑native patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices and APIs (REST, GraphQL, event‑driven) following cloud‑native architecture.
• Develop asynchronous communication using message brokers and integrate both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT and OpenID Connect.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.
• Create CI/CD pipelines, write unit, integration and API tests, and ensure observability through logging, monitoring and tracing.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps and product teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in backend development with Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience building scalable microservices and cloud‑native solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative teamwork.
