Assurance Manager / Assistant Manager – Audit

About the role

EY Sri Lanka is seeking experienced Assurance Managers and Assistant Managers to join its Audit practice. You will help clients meet reporting requirements, deliver high‑quality audit services and provide insightful guidance on accounting and reporting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality assurance services to clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate financial statement reports and provide meaningful insights.
• Lead multiple audit assignments in challenging environments.
• Coach and develop junior staff, sharing market trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with regulators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify client needs, apply commercial awareness and problem‑solving to add value.

Required profile

• Manager: minimum 5 years of external audit or commercial financial reporting experience.
• Assistant Manager: 3‑4 years of external audit or commercial financial reporting experience.
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA) for Managers or completion/following CA Strategic Level for Assistant Managers.
• Excellent client service and communication abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness, problem‑solving and teamwork skills.
