Associate Lead Software Engineer

About the role

As an Associate Lead Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain large‑scale distributed systems for global customers. Working in a collaborative team, you will translate product vision into robust, scalable software while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to architect scalable, robust solutions.
• Lead hands‑on design and implementation, working closely with product owners.
• Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, testing strategies and quality analysis.
• Enforce industry best practices and development standards across projects.
• Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering professional growth.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality software.
• Facilitate Agile planning sessions and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on software development with a proven track record.
• Demonstrated leadership in delivering complex software projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and mentoring abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in JVM‑based languages, especially Scala.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker).
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles.
• Expertise in relational database management.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts: scalability, integration, security, testing.
• Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Automated testing and quality assurance practices.
