About the role
Varun Beverages is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead Management Information System (MIS) and plant accounting functions. You will support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for a manufacturing unit, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports for plant operations.
- Manage plant accounting, including cost tracking for power, fuel, repair & maintenance, and C&C expenses.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the unit.
- Submit accurate quarterly, half‑yearly, and annual financial statements and budgets.
- Coordinate audit processes and ensure compliance with schedules.
- Report on internal financial controls to mitigate fraud risk.
Required profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and commercial functions.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and people‑management abilities.
