Assistant Manager Facilities

About the role

JLL is hiring an Assistant Manager facilities for its Facilities Management team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The role provides administrative support to the FM team and covers building operations, service contracts and financial management. It is an on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Facilities Management team and ensure timely, accurate completion of FM reports for assigned facilities.
• Manage building operations, service contracts and financial management, maximising use of suppliers, preferred vendors and contractors and encouraging spending with minority- and women-owned businesses.
• Discuss goals, performance criteria and reviews with selected vendors and support sourcing and site managers with procurement.
• Ensure compliance with JLL's minimum operational audit and safety standards.
• Build relationships with client site leads, EHS leads and FM clients, and work with the Facility Manager on the Experience Clean Supplier Partnership programme.
• Help deliver maintenance, repair, custodial, security and other building services, and assist in developing annual operating budgets.
• Introduce cost-reduction and productivity-improving programmes and lead participation in local JLL and account innovation programmes.
• Follow JLL reporting protocols for commercial, costing and billing, respond to client reports and be available for escalations.
• Oversee the Helpdesk work process.
