Assistant Manager – Contracts (Group Legal & Regulatory)

About the role

Dialog Axiata PLC is looking for a motivated legal professional to join its Group Legal and Regulatory team as an Assistant Manager – Contracts. You will support the business by ensuring contracts are well‑structured, compliant, and aligned with the company’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and operational contracts.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals and amendments.
• Provide timely legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks in contracts.
• Support dispute resolution by interpreting contract provisions and coordinating with external counsel.
• Maintain contract templates, clause libraries and documentation standards.
• Drive efficiency using digital contract management tools and support data‑protection, privacy and cybersecurity considerations.

Required profile

• Recognised Bachelor of Laws degree and admission as an Attorney‑at‑Law; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of post‑qualification experience in a commercial legal role with hands‑on contract drafting.
• Strong grounding in commercial and contract law and familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with technology‑related contracts (SaaS, IT, digital services) is advantageous.
• Understanding of data‑protection and privacy laws.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaborative teamwork skills.
