Assistant Manager – Accounting & Finance

About the role

Infomate (Pvt) Ltd, a leading shared services provider in Sri Lanka, is looking for an Assistant Manager – Accounting & Finance to lead its Accounts Payable and Finance Operations. The role will be based onsite at Orion City, Colombo and will involve managing high‑volume invoice processing while driving efficiency and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Accounts Payable function and overall finance operations.
• Manage high‑volume invoice processing and end‑to‑end AP activities.
• Coach, develop and motivate the team to meet KPIs and operational targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Handle client queries and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
• Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and IRD requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting & Finance with strong AP exposure.
• Fully qualified CA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Hands‑on experience in Accounts Payable and invoice processing.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation and IRD matters.
• Proven people‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capabilities.
