Assistant Entertainer

About the role

The Assistant Entertainer supports the Entertainment team at RIU Hotels & Resorts in delivering fun and memorable experiences for guests of all ages. Working in a dynamic resort environment, you will help organise daily activities, games, sports, and special events while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting daily recreational activities, games, sports and guest programmes.
• Welcome guests, encourage participation and provide clear instructions on rules and safety.
• Support children’s, family and adult entertainment programmes according to the resort schedule.
• Help with evening shows, music, dancing, theme nights and special events.
• Prepare, arrange and safely store equipment, props, costumes and activity materials.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe activity areas.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Required profile

• Outgoing, energetic and guest‑focused personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfortable interacting with guests in a multicultural setting.
• Physical ability to take part in games, dancing and outdoor programmes.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, reliability and willingness to learn.
