Accounts & Tax Executive

About the role

The Accounts & Tax Executive will join BizGuide Global’s finance team in Rajagiriya on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations and tax compliance, supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform bookkeeping entries.
• Prepare management accounts and assist with internal and external audits.
• Compute, file and support the preparation of tax returns in line with Sri Lankan regulations.
• Assist with tax planning, compliance and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather documentation and resolve queries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices and financial reporting.
• Experience in tax computation, tax return preparation and compliance with Sri Lankan tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and team members.
• Relevant professional qualification or ongoing studies (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CA Sri Lanka).
• Prior experience in an accounting or audit firm is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and commitment to compliance.
