About the role
The Accounts Executive will support the finance function of a leading consumer durables distributor in Sri Lanka. This position involves handling day‑to‑day financial transactions, preparing key reports, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping across multiple departments. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to maintain financial integrity and support operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly fuel consumption reports and resolve daily fuel transaction issues.
- Manage commissions for various departments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate Balance Sheet schedules.
- Oversee creditors’ accounts and ensure timely payments.
- Manage fuel‑related and departmental petty cash.
- Handle special incentives, various payments, and related documentation.
- Administer stationery and document management to ensure smooth office operations.
Required profile
- G.C.E. O/L & A/L qualifications.
- Qualified in AAT or part‑qualified CA, CIMA, ACCA.
- Accounts‑related experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP accounting package is an advantage.
