Accounts Executive

About the role

Lakru Packaging Industries, an ISO 22000 certified manufacturer of eco‑friendly paper sacks, is looking for a proactive Accounts Executive to manage its day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations. The role supports business decision‑making through accurate reporting, statutory compliance, and effective cash‑flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the QuickBooks accounting package with accurate and timely entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash‑flow activities.
• Handle VAT, SVAT, VAT returns, and IRD RAMIS processes independently.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for review.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.
• Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on collections, and manage supplier payments.
• Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and statutory obligations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines effectively.

Required profile

• Fully qualified in AAT or holding a part qualification in CIMA, ACCA, ICAS, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Experience handling full accounting functions independently is an advantage.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is beneficial.
