Accounts Assistant

About the role

The Accounts Assistant will support the finance team by handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an entry‑level position ideal for candidates who are eager to develop their accounting skills and grow with the company.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual bookkeeping, filing, and documentation of accounting records.
• Maintain ledgers, process invoices, payment vouchers, and handle petty‑cash transactions.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and support credit‑control activities.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve accounting queries.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and discipline.
• Willingness to commit to at least two years with the company.
• Good communication skills and professional coordination abilities.
• Previous experience in an accounting, trading, hardware, or administrative environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems (advantageous).
