Windows L1 Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Windows L1 Administrator to provide first‑level support for Windows server environments. The role focuses on monitoring server health, resolving incidents, managing service requests, and ensuring infrastructure stability while meeting SLA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Windows server performance, system alerts, CPU, memory, and disk utilization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 Windows Server incidents and service requests.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
• Perform basic Windows administration, system maintenance, and patching activities.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, documentation, and shift handover reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, server monitoring tools and ITSM/ticketing systems.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, connectivity, troubleshooting).
• Willingness to work in a 24 × 7 rotational shift environment.

• PowerShell scripting.
• Server monitoring tools.
• ITSM/ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Exposure to VMware, Azure or AWS.
