Wealth Planner – Financial Planning & Insurance Advisor

About the role

The Wealth Planner will work on‑site in Kadawatha, engaging directly with clients to understand their financial goals and risk profile. You will design tailored financial plans and insurance solutions that support long‑term objectives such as retirement, education, and wealth preservation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients’ current financial situation and risk tolerance.
• Recommend suitable life and health insurance products.
• Advise on investment options aligned with long‑term goals.
• Conduct regular client meetings, prepare proposals and monitor portfolio performance.
• Perform periodic reviews to keep plans relevant.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes.
• Participate in sales initiatives and customer education activities to drive business growth.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial planning and finance.
• Knowledge of investments and investment management.
• Understanding of insurance products and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with basic office software and digital tools; prior experience in financial services or insurance advisory is beneficial.
