Wealth Planner – Financial & Insurance Advisory

About the role

The Wealth Planner will join AIA Sri Lanka’s financial advisory team, working full‑time from Colombo with hybrid flexibility. You will assess clients’ financial situations, understand their goals and design tailored wealth and insurance plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings to gather financial information and objectives.
• Analyse investment, protection and retirement needs and recommend appropriate life and health insurance solutions.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial roadmaps and portfolio reviews.
• Collaborate with internal product and compliance teams to stay updated on offerings, market trends and regulatory changes.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and deliver high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Strong financial planning ability with a solid understanding of finance and personal wealth management concepts.
• Knowledge of investment management, risk, return and diversification.
• Familiarity with life and health insurance products and their role in financial planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance or wealth management is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic office software and digital tools for financial analysis and client reporting.
• Excellent communication, analytical mindset and attention to detail.
