Warehouse Assistant

About the role

AODOUR, a cosmetics retailer, is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join its on‑site team in Colombo. The role involves handling incoming cosmetic products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing orders for dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and organize cosmetic products.
• Accurately label and store items.
• Prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring secure packing.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts.
• Report discrepancies or damages.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Support stock replenishment for retail and online orders.
• Occasionally assist with customer order queries in coordination with the customer service team.

Required profile

• Strong packing skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with inventory control and management.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Basic customer service skills to support internal teams.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to lift and move boxes and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with basic computer systems or warehouse management software.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
