Visiting Lecturer – Quantity Surveying (Part‑time)

About the role

ESOFT UNI Kandy invites qualified academics and experienced industry professionals to join the Faculty of Engineering as Visiting Lecturers in Quantity Surveying on a part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and academic sessions in Quantity Surveying‑related subjects.
• Prepare suitable teaching materials and learning activities.
• Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Connect academic concepts with current construction‑industry practices.
• Support students in achieving required academic and professional standards.
• Collaborate with the academic team to maintain high‑quality programme delivery.

Required profile

• A recognised bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline.
• A master’s degree or recognised professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost management or the construction industry.
• Previous lecturing, teaching or professional training experience is advantageous.
• Strong presentation, communication and student‑engagement skills.
• Knowledge of modern quantity surveying software, BIM and digital construction practices.
• Ability to conduct physical or hybrid sessions through ESOFT UNI Kandy.
