Videographer – Digital Marketing Content Creator

About the role

The Videographer will create high‑quality video content that supports Capsicum Digital’s data‑driven marketing campaigns. Working in a hybrid model from Colombo, you will collaborate with creative and marketing teams to turn concepts into engaging visual stories for social media, websites and other digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit video assets for digital marketing initiatives.
• Operate professional cameras and set up lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots.
• Manage production schedules, equipment inventory and post‑production workflows.
• Ensure all video deliverables align with brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters and account managers to integrate video into broader campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience producing video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
• Strong visual storytelling ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Colombo and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Camera operation and handling across professional camera systems.
• Lighting techniques for both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
