About the role

Rubiq is seeking a full‑time Video Editor to join its Colombo studio. You will craft compelling video content for digital campaigns, social media, advertisements and brand storytelling, ensuring each piece meets client objectives and Rubiq’s creative standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble raw footage, trim and sequence clips to create cohesive narratives.
• Add transitions, sound, graphics and basic motion‑graphics elements.
• Perform color grading to maintain visual consistency across projects.
• Prepare final videos in multiple formats optimized for various digital platforms.
• Collaborate closely with creative, marketing and production teams to refine concepts.
• Maintain organized project files and meet production deadlines.
• Contribute ideas to enhance visual impact and performance‑marketing outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong background in video editing and production, with a focus on storytelling.
• Proficiency in color grading and basic motion‑graphics.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and adapt content for different digital channels.
• Detail‑oriented, good time‑management and comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design or a related field; experience in digital media or performance marketing is a plus.
