About the role
ECHELON MEDIA, a leading economic and financial markets news publisher in Sri Lanka, is seeking a talented Video Editor to support its studio operations. You will be responsible for turning raw footage into compelling stories that align with the brand’s editorial standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee video pre‑production planning, on‑site production, and post‑production editing.
- Craft engaging visual narratives that communicate complex financial topics.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintain high quality and consistency across all video content.
Required profile
- Creative problem‑solver capable of tackling pre‑ and post‑production tasks with minimal assistance.
- Strong coordination skills to work with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring proper resourcing and scheduling.
- Ability to prioritize effectively when creative demands or deadlines shift.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software.
