UK Payroll Specialist – On-site

About the role

We are looking for an experienced UK Payroll Specialist to join our team in Mountlavania. You will be responsible for processing end‑to‑end UK payroll for our clients, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines and HMRC regulations. This on‑site position works on UK business hours and offers a structured environment for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Process end‑to‑end UK payroll accurately and within statutory deadlines.
• Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, SSP, SMP, SPP, and other statutory payments.
• Manage PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and payroll deductions.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports and Real Time Information (RTI) filings.
• Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
• Resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records while preserving confidentiality.
• Collaborate with UK clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience processing UK payroll.
• Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations, PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and statutory payments.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Payroll or accounting qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with UK payroll software such as BrightPay, Moneysoft, Sage Payroll, IRIS, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
