Trainee Sales Account Manager

About the role

SMARTMenu is seeking a motivated Trainee Sales Account Manager to help transform the dining experience across hotels and restaurants in Sri Lanka. You will work directly with customers, showcase our digital menu solutions, and build lasting relationships while developing your sales expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Visit new and existing hotel and restaurant customers according to a planned schedule.
• Introduce and demonstrate the SMARTMenu app, answer questions, and close sales.
• Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients.
• Follow up on proposals, invoices, and pending actions to ensure smooth transactions.
• Promote special campaigns, promotions, and new features.
• Represent SMARTMenu with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil optional).
• Energetic, confident, and self‑motivated.
• Enjoy field work and meeting people.
• Previous sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Valid motorcycle or driving licence.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
