Trainee Cum Associate Account Executive

About the role

The Trainee Cum Associate Account Executive will support the account management team in Colombo, helping to maintain strong client relationships and ensure smooth project delivery. This full‑time, on‑site position offers a clear development path toward independent client‑facing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with client communications, proposal preparation and project progress tracking.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee timely delivery of services and keep accurate records of client interactions.
• Support resolution of client queries and maintain high‑quality relationship management.
• Manage financial aspects of accounts, monitor margins and contribute to profitability targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in client service, account management or related business functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professional email etiquette and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in handling data, spreadsheets and preparing reports.
• General understanding of business processes or project workflows with a keen interest in account management.
• Competence in financial management and margin monitoring.
• Excellent organization, time‑management and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on‑site, collaborate across departments and travel abroad for client visits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Management, Commerce or related field preferred.
• Adaptability to new processes and proactive problem‑solving.
