Tour Executive – Sales & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Tour Executive – Sales & Operations to join our team in Sri Lanka. The role focuses on generating travel sales, building strong customer relationships and ensuring seamless execution of outbound and inbound tours.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell a wide range of tour packages, including outbound, inbound, private, group, cruise, rail and customized holidays.
• Respond promptly to enquiries via phone, email, social media and other channels.
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable destinations, itineraries, hotels, transport and travel products.
• Prepare competitive quotations and customised proposals, and follow up to convert leads into bookings.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and develop new business through referrals and corporate clients.
• Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, guides and overseas partners.
• Convert confirmed sales into fully coordinated travel arrangements and provide support before, during and after trips.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, bookings and customer interactions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in travel sales, tourism or tour operations.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of converting enquiries into bookings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and relationship‑building capability.
• Good knowledge of international destinations and travel products.

Required skills

• Knowledge of outbound and inbound tour packages.
• Familiarity with quotation preparation and booking coordination.
• Ability to work with multiple suppliers and internal teams.
