Telemarketing Executive – Outbound Sales

About the role

The Telemarketing Executive is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Colombo. The role involves making outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, presenting products or services, and generating qualified leads for the sales team while building rapport and supporting customer decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to present products or services.
• Generate qualified leads for the sales team and follow up on them.
• Maintain accurate call records and update customer databases.
• Meet assigned targets and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure a consistent, professional customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven ability in lead generation and sales to identify prospects and qualify opportunities.
• Strong customer service and support skills to handle inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and a professional telephone manner.
• Prior experience in telemarketing, call‑center operations, or inside sales is beneficial.
• Ability to meet targets, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment.
• Basic computer literacy with familiarity of CRM or call‑management software.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Colombo.
