Technical Account Manager – Azure Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) who will drive Azure pipeline creation, enable account managers, and lead high‑level technical conversations that turn customer needs into cloud opportunities. This role sits as a technical overlay to the sales organization, shaping cloud journeys from discovery to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Qualify leads and convert them into CRM‑ready opportunities by defining clear customer needs, scope, and next steps.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer environments, identify gaps, and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Design Azure solutions—including landing zones, networking, identity, security baselines, governance, monitoring, and DevOps—aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well‑Architected Framework.
• Develop migration and modernization roadmaps with assumptions, risks, effort estimates, and recommended technical approaches.
• Lead technical demos, proofs of concept, and validation efforts while addressing objections and ensuring smooth handover to delivery teams.

Required profile

• Experience in solutions consulting, presales, or technical specialist roles focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services: compute, networking, storage, identity (Microsoft Entra ID), security, governance, monitoring, and DevOps.
• Proven ability to perform customer discovery, gap analysis, and translate business needs into cloud architectures and roadmaps.
• Skilled in preparing proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presales documentation, and Statements of Work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑900, AZ‑104, AZ‑305, AZ‑500) preferred.
