Systems Engineer (VMware / Enterprise Infrastructure)

About the role

DMS Electronics is expanding its Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions business and seeks a skilled Systems Engineer to design, deploy and support mission‑critical virtualization environments. The role focuses on VMware technologies and requires close interaction with customers to deliver reliable, high‑performance infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, ESXi and vCenter Server environments.
• Perform P2V and V2V migrations, implement disaster‑recovery, replication and high‑availability solutions.
• Support VMware networking, security and load‑balancing technologies such as NSX, vDefend and Avi Load Balancer.
• Assist with Kubernetes and cloud‑native platforms, including VMware Tanzu and related enterprise solutions.
• Monitor and optimise infrastructure performance, capacity and resource utilisation.
• Provide L2 technical support, prepare documentation and customer‑facing reports.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise systems, virtualization or infrastructure technologies.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter Server; knowledge of VCF or VVF is a plus.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities with good communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively, willing to travel to customer sites.
