About the role
The Supermarket Assistant Manager will support daily store operations at Luxe Colombo’s online‑to‑offline supermarket in Colombo. Working on‑site full‑time, you will help ensure a clean, well‑stocked environment and deliver a premium shopping experience for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coach store staff, ensuring high service standards.
- Maintain shelf presentation, stock levels and product rotation.
- Monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers and oversee order processing.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and support promotional activities.
- Enforce company policies, health‑and‑safety standards and drive operational improvements.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with effective communication skills.
- Previous experience in supermarkets or retail operations, including supervisory or team‑lead roles.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management or related field is an advantage.
Required skills
- Point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Retail software for inventory and order management.
