Student Recruitment Officer (Kandy Branch)

About the role

The Student Recruitment Officer will join the Marketing Team at ECU Sri Lanka’s Kandy campus, driving outreach and enrolment activities for university programmes. This role focuses on building relationships with prospective students, parents, schools and education agents to achieve intake targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote university programmes to prospective students, parents, schools and agents.
• Attend education fairs, school visits, open days and virtual events to generate leads.
• Manage student enquiries through the CRM system (Salesforce) and follow up via calls, emails and messages.
• Guide applicants through the offer, acceptance and enrolment stages, coordinating with internal teams.
• Support marketing campaigns, digital outreach and creation of promotional content.

Required profile

• Part or full qualification in Marketing (CIM/SLIM) or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Management.
• Experience in marketing, student recruitment, sales, business development or customer service, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to engage students, parents and agents.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment and manage multiple leads and deadlines.
• Proactive, customer‑focused and results‑oriented approach to lead conversion.
