Student Consultant – International Education Services

About the role

AECC is a global education consultancy helping international students enrol in overseas programmes. As a Student Consultant in Colombo you will counsel prospective students, answer their enquiries and promote AECC’s placement and visa services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and consistently follow up with student enquiries, maintaining strong relationships throughout the application process.
• Provide accurate and up‑to‑date information about courses, institutions, visa and migration services.
• Keep detailed student records current, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Achieve or exceed the targeted number of applicant submissions each period.
• Handle challenging and conflicting situations in a composed, professional manner.
• Perform other related tasks as required by the business.

Required profile

• Customer‑centric attitude with ability to work effectively in a cross‑cultural environment.
• Excellent organisational skills for delivering timely reports and feedback on marketing initiatives.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated team‑player mindset, collaborating with colleagues to meet goals.
• Competent computer literacy with knowledge of standard office software.
