Stores Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Stores Intern to support our inventory and warehouse operations. This role offers hands‑on experience in a leading manufacturer of bitumen‑based road construction products, working closely with production, purchasing, finance and logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records using the ERP system.
• Help receive, inspect and verify incoming materials.
• Support preparation of GRNs, stock transfer documents and inventory reports.
• Assist in issuing raw materials, packaging materials and other inventory items.
• Monitor stock levels and help identify replenishment needs.
• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly stock verification activities.
• Maintain proper stock identification, storage and housekeeping.
• Support FIFO/FEFO stock rotation practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Finance and Logistics as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Stores Management, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Recent graduate or currently pursuing a relevant diploma.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Team‑oriented with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in stores and inventory management.

• ERP systems (knowledge is an advantage)
