Store Assistant & Supply Chain Assistant (Multiple Positions)

About the role

We are hiring for two entry‑level positions – a Store Assistant and a Supply Chain (Purchasing) Assistant – to support our daily store operations and procurement activities. Both roles require strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming materials, verifying against delivery notes or purchase orders.
• Issue materials to internal departments based on approved requests and maintain accurate stock movement records.
• Conduct regular stock checks, assist with audits and report low‑stock items.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, communicate with suppliers for quotations, delivery updates and product information.
• Negotiate prices under supervision, follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Visit suppliers or vendors when required for sourcing, inspections or coordination.
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier details and verify invoices against delivery notes.

Required profile

• Basic GCE A/L or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in stores, warehouse or procurement is an advantage.
• Good organisational, record‑keeping and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft Excel.

What we offer

• Salary range: LKR 40,000 – LKR 50,000 per month (based on experience) for the Store Assistant role.
